TOXICITY DATA

The toxicity of the product is determined by the toxicity of the pheromone active ingredient.

The toxicity of this pheromone will be similar to the toxicity of other Lepidopteran pheromones, i.e.:

LD50, Oral, Rat: >5000 mg/Kg

LD50, Dermal, Rabbit: >2000 mg/Kg

LC50, Acute Inhalation, Rat: >5 mg/L

Primary Eye Irritation, Rabbit: Mildly irritating.

Primary Skin Irritation, Rabbit: Moderately irritating.

EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE

EYE CONTACT: Pheromone is minimally irritating.  Avoid contact with eyes when in contact with dispenser membrane.

SKIN CONTACT: Pheromone is moderately irritating.  Avoid contact with skin when in contact with dispenser membrane.

INHALATION: Avoid breathing vapors when in confined areas.

INGESTION: Due to product form ingestion is not considered likely.

CHRONIC: Long-term studies on the active ingredients have not been done, however, no adverse effects expected.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES

EYE CONTACT: Flush eyes with water.  Get medical attention is irritation develops.
