Row crops

  • Row Crops

Row crop is a general term associated more to a type of land management than to any botanical classification. Row crops are sown or planted in rows to allow for intercrop tillage or similar agricultural practices. They are typically grown in very large extensions and oftentimes as part of a crop rotation.

Row crops include commodity grains, like cereals or legumes, as well as many other crops such as cotton, sugar beet or potatoes.
